Adding geolocation to your site or blog

Adding location to your blog or site is very easy. Mapufacture can import a number of formats: GeoRSS (useful for Atom or RSS), KML (also referred to as 'GoogleEarth' format), Microformats, Geotags (like in del.icio.us), and more.

If you're using one of the popular blogging tools such as WordPress or MovableType, you probably already have an RSS or Atom feed that your readers can subscribe to. For both of these tools there the GeoPress plugin that provides you with an easy to use interface for adding location to any of your blog posts, adding maps to the entries, and adding GeoRSS and KML to your feeds so that you can share the locations with users via Mapufacture.

Content Management Systems (CMS) such as Drupal and Joomla also have modules that add GeoRSS output.
